WILUS VIDEO CODEC EXPERTS PUBLISH PAPER ON POST-VVC CANDIDATE TECHNOLOGIES IN KIBME JOURNAL
Following the publication of the VVC standard in 2020, JVET has been exploring candidate technologies for a beyond VVC codec.
ECM is one of the major candidates for beyond VVC, and includes many enhancements and new technologies to boost compression rate and efficiency.
WILUS has been participating in both the VVC and ECM standardization processes and has submitted numerous technical contributions to JVET to help bring new codec technologies to a market.
